Gieseler Trading t/a GMG Solutions was founded by G Marc Gieseler on the 16 July 2007.
Marc Gieseler qualified as a construction electrician as well as a wireman while serving his apprenticeship with a renowned company in KwaZulu Natal, AA Savage and Son. After serving his time with the aforementioned company he then joined Point 2 Point, a National concern, as project manager for the KZN region. Marc successfully managed a number of projects within KZN as well as neighbouring countries such as Swaziland, Mozambique, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia.
During this time, Marc and the Branch manager, built a strong relationship with their customers and when the opportunity arose, the two of them decided to partner up and open their own business and so they founded African Data and Electrical Contractors or AFRIDEC as it was known, where they continued to strengthen their relationships with customers and clients throughout KZN and SA’s neighbouring countries. Some of their bigger clients included the Bytes Technology Group, Standard Bank, ABSA, FNB, Illovo Sugar to mention a few.
In 2007 Marc decided to leave the Data industry and concentrate on Electrical installations and thus founding GMG Electrical. Having the support and keeping many of his existing clients Marc has since increase his client base to the construction as well as the commercial and the domestic field.
GMG currently consists of a permanent work force of 12 electrical technicians along with which we have a large contingent of reliable electrical sub-contractors. We are currently comprised of 4 teams each fully equipped and with their own vehicles.
